So, are his signs really art?
Neill finds the question unimportant. “I don’t allude to being an artist,” he says. “I am what I am: a sign painter. I found a little niche, so now I don’t have to dig holes and put signs in the ground or paint letters on the side of a building with ladders and a plank.”
